How I Work

Systemic coaching is a method of providing professional support in conflict situations, processes of change, or when being confronted with complex decision processes. As the name suggests, the individual and the matter is always viewed as being interconnected with other parts of a system. Systems can be family, occupational systems or a system of friends.
When we begin the coaching process, we will explore the issue which bothers you, but we will also get a deeper understanding of the environment in which the problem arose. For me it is most important to encourage you to discover or develop an idea of what your goal could look like. Psychotherapist and author Steve de Shazer once said: “Problem talk creates problems and solution talk creates solutions.” That is why I place a particular emphasis on developing solution strategies and will support you in this process with various interventions. I will help you to define your goals, your individual strategy to reach those goals and support you to discover resources within yourself or your environment which can aid you.
