Stress Management

“It’s not stress that kills us, it’s our reaction to it!”

What is my Approach to Stress?

Understand, manage, and even benefit from stress

At AutopoieticMind I offer a comprehensive approach to stress management. I believe stress does not have to hold you back. It can be managed, transformed, and even used to your advantage (Peak-Performance Program). You have a choice between different trainings, either with a broad spectrum and different angles of stress management or a deeper dive into regenerative coping strategies. Major goals of these trainings are to stop fearing stress and to gain an optimistic view. You will build your self-efficacy, knowledge and the ability to manage stress with a holistic view and a variety of interventions.

Stress can be viewed from different angles and managed with several strategies. Restorative strategies are designed to help you restore calm and energy, balancing your nervous system and alleviating the strain stress can place on your body. Beyond relaxation, I also work with instrumental strategies to address external conditions contributing to stress development and mental strategies that help you to detect stress inducing and enhancing patterns within yourself. Whether you choose a single or a comprehensive approach, it will empower you to handle stress with greater ease and transform it into a resource for growth, performance, and personal success.

A Day Of Stress Relief

calming and balancing your body’s stress response

A Day of Stress Relief offers more than a relaxation technique, it’s a deep dive into the science of stress. You will understand how your body reacts under stress and know core principles of calming this stress response.

You will discover stunning ways of activating your parasympathetic nervous system and encounter a variety of relaxation methods. This will equip you with very short but extremely effective exercises in moments of severe stress. These are important because often you don’t have the time to relax. But you will also learn more elaborate techniques which can improve relaxation and your well-being.

Gain insights into the role of cortisol in your body, including when it is released, its function, and effective strategies for managing excess production.

This isn’t your typical stress training; it’s an empowering experience that gives you a personalized toolkit for lasting calm, balance, and control in your everyday life.

Individual Designed Stress Training

ANalyse, Intervene and CHange

In occupational settings, changes to the working environment often play a key role in preventing stress. For companies, it is therefore crucial to begin by analyzing the situation and identifying potential stressors. Instrumental strategies are particularly valuable in this context, focusing on three main categories: 1. social stressors 2. context-related stressors 3. resource-related stressors. By addressing and modifying external conditions, these strategies can help reduce or even eliminate stressors effectively.

But it’s equally essential to recognize stressors that arise from negative mind-sets, limiting beliefs, and unhelpful thought patterns. These internal factors often shape how we perceive challenges and can amplify stress unnecessarily. By addressing these mental habits, you can create a more positive, empowering outlook that fosters motivation, resilience and well-being.
